• Booking & class information — the classes you book or teach, attendance, reviews, and related activity.
• Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited details (such as confirmation and the last four digits) needed to manage bookings and payouts.
• Instructor compliance documents — if you teach, documents you upload such as certificates of insurance.
• Communications — messages you send through the Service and, if you opt in, SMS messages we send via our SMS provider (ClickSend).
• Location information — approximate location (for example, from your device or IP address) to show classes and parks near you.
• Usage & device information — log data, device and browser type, and cookies or similar technologies.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service, including bookings, payouts, and permit features.
• To process payments and prevent fraud (with Stripe).
• To communicate with you about your account, bookings, and (if you opt in) SMS notifications.
• To show you relevant classes and parks based on location.
• To maintain safety and security, enforce our Terms, and comply with law.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information:

• With service providers who help us operate the Service, such as Stripe (payments), ClickSend (SMS), Google Maps (locations), and our hosting and email providers, under obligations to protect your information.
• Between Instructors and Students as needed to facilitate a booking (for example, sharing a Student's registration with the class's Instructor).
• For legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of YAP, our users, or others.
• In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
